I started my cheer career at 7. I was a varsity all state cheerleader all 4 years of high school. I started cheering at Eastern Michigan my freshman year of college. During this time I was part of UCA staff and I  cheered and coached at Michigan Xtreme All Stars.  I made the Detroit Pistons cheer team, and then decided to move to Texas a few weeks later to cheer at Tarleton State University. After graduation my passion for cheer was not over and I started cheering at Champion Cheer All Stars. After a knee injury and surgery, I decided to start my family. When my daughter was old enough, she started cheer at Champion, which lead me to coaching again. I coached at Champion for over a year before I decided to step down for family reasons.

I am the Bookkeeper at Colleyville Heritage High School and am honored to be one of the coaches here at CTMS.  I have been married to to my amazing husband, Rus for almost 9 years.  I have three beautiful/handsome kiddos,  Camdyn (16), Roxen (5) and my bonus son Kaleb (17).  Camdyn has been a competitive cheerleader for just over 11 years and is currently a varsity cheerleader at CHHS.  She is a junior.  Roxen is my little ball of energy, he is in Pre K at Heritage Elementary School and we are just now trying to figure out what to start him in.  He is a pretty well rounded kiddo.  Kaleb is a junior at Timber Creek High School in Keller and is involved in band and is all about his grades.  He is currently ranked in the top of his class.  We are so proud of each of them.   As for me, I have always had a love of all things cheer and dance.  Starting at age 5 I was a cheerleader and a competitive dancer.  I continued to do both until I hit high school and chose to stick with cheer.  I cheered all four years in high school and one year at my local junior college.   I then coached a small competitive team in Irving for one year.  I then decided to focus on being a cheer mom and spending more time with my family.   Fast forward to today, I am proud to be coaching again and working with such amazing athletes.
