CTMS PTA is excited to host our annual Thanks for Giving Auction (Nov. 14-22) again this year! The proceeds raised from this help ensure that the amazing student events continue as well as provide our campus and teachers with needed items!

Parents/Guardians of 8th graders! It's time to start thinking about high school planning! Your students learned this week about many of the opportunities at our local GCISD high schools this week. Please watch the videos below and plan to attend our parent information meeting on Monday, October 6 at 6:30 pm in the CTMS SAC!
Also, we are planning to take a field trip to GHS on October 21. Your student should have brought home a letter this week with information about that and a permission slip. Please return the permission slip by Thursday, October 16!

Collegiate Academy is the early college high school for GCISD. To learn more, please plan to attend one of their parent preview sessions on either October 9 or November 6. See the flier for more information.

Time: 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: "Shipwreck Island" AKA the CTMS SAC!
Throw on your brightest beachwear or white so you can come glow under the black lights! There will be:
- Live DJ & Dancing
- Snacks & Drinks
- Games & Raffle Prizes
- Tiki Trading Post – trade your tickets for awesome goodies!
- Each student gets 4 "Glow Bucks" to use for the raffle or to spend at the Tiki Trading Post – choose wisely!
Don’t miss this glowing good time – it's the social of the season!

The Mark of Excellence is a national music competition sponsored by The Foundation for Music Education that recognizes varsity music ensembles (bands and orchestra) for high standards in performance. Ensembles are judged by nationally known adjudicators, with the top quarter being named as National Winners, and the second quarter named as Commended Winners. The Mark of Excellence received 478 entries from 40 different states.
We are so proud of these hard-working young musicians for earning this recognition!
