Dr. Jamie Halliburton will serve her fourth year as principal at Cross Timbers Middle School in 2023-2024. Dr. Halliburton previously served as the principal at Bransford Elementary School.

Dr. Halliburton served as the principal at Bransford Elementary since 2015. Prior to leading Bransford, she served as an assistant principal at Silver Lake Elementary School (2014-2015) and Heritage Elementary School (2013-2014). Her first role in GCISD was at Timberline Elementary School in 2012 where she was a third-grade teacher. Dr. Halliburton spent four years in the Hurst Euless Bedford Independent School District from 2008-2012 where she taught sixth-grade before becoming a campus instructional specialist. She began her career in Lubbock in 2000 where she taught second, fifth and sixth grades during her seven year tenure.
 
Dr. Halliburton earned her bachelor’s degree and two master’s degrees from Texas Tech University. She earned her doctoral degree in educational leadership from Lamar University.
