GCISD residents 65 years and older are invited to attend our first Gold Card meeting of the school year at 9 a.m., Thursday, August 27, at the district’s Administration Building, 3051 Ira E. Woods Avenue, Grapevine, TX 76051.


Attendees receive the Gold Card, which grants free entry to all GCISD fine arts and athletic events (excluding playoffs). Please arrive 10 minutes early to the sessions to allow time to check-in.

What a great morning! Today is day 1 of our professional development for all new professional hires. Superintendent Dr. Jason Adams opened the event with a warm welcome, which was then followed by a number of sessions familiarizing everyone with GCISD’s mission, vision and profile of a GCISD educator. More learning will continue this afternoon and tomorrow with a focus on curriculum and instruction. Be sure to check out the last picture of our new professional hires who are alums and chose to return to teach in GCISD.

Need in-person help with registration? GCISD is hosting a Student Registration Event from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., Thursday, July 30, and Thursday, August 6, at the JPS Building (behind Timberline Elementary) 3050 Timberline Dr. Grapevine, TX 76051. Staff will be available to assist families in completing their online registration in Skyward and answer questions. We’re here to help.
